Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery, McHenry, ND. Richard Barclay was born June 7, 1949, in McVille, ND. He grew up in the McHenry, ND area and attended school in Binford, ND. He worked various jobs in the Binford and McHenry area before he joined the US Army in February of 1969. Richard married Virginia Baker April 22, 1969, in Glenfield, ND. Richard was stationed in Germany and Vietnam while in the service. After his discharge he returned to Binford and worked for Melroe Manufacturing of Cooperstown, ND, for short time. He then opened his own welding business in Binford in 1973. Richard operated that shop for about 20 years until moving to West Fargo. He then worked for Industrial Builders of Fargo as a welding foreman for 17 years. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, West Fargo; son, Kevin (Amie) West Fargo; three daughters, Laura (Roy) Harding, West Fargo, Brenda Harding, Binford, Barbara (Don) Andel, West Fargo; nine grandchildren; mother, Joyce Barclay, McHenry; two brothers, Ronnie (Donna) Mc Henry, Robert (Joni), Binford; two sisters, Renae (Don) Briss, McHenry, Julie (Duane) Dramstad, Binford.
