There are also 6 grandchildren of which one is deceased; 38 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; one surviving brother, Clayton Gregory of Osborne and two sisters, Floy Barber of Houston, Texans and Sadie Hunting Of Muscatine, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Amanda Mendenhall on January 1, 1924. She preceded him in death on January 24, 1962. He was a life member of the Friends church, serving as pastor of Kansas Yearly Meeting of Friends for 22 years. He was a faithful husband, father, and friend, always having a good testimony and witness for his Lord and Saviour, and he always carried a deep burden for lost souls. His passing will be mourned by many relatives amid a host of friends. Services were held at the Mt. Ayr church, Alton, with T. Clio Brown and Mart Englehart in charge. Pallbearers were Robert Busby, Nathen Gregory, Paul Pletcher, Richard Gregory, Harold Bangle and Frank Husted. Interment was in Mt Ayr cemetery.
