Description	:	On the one hand, we know Richard's burial place; on the other hand, it's unclear. The Clinton Co, OH, cemetery book, year 2000 edition, p. 180, lists Richard Carpenter as having died in Clinton Co, and says he was born 12-25-1817 in Clermont Co, OH, and died 4-10-1895, buried 4-12-1895 in Sec 4, Lot 130, in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Clinton Co, OH. But then it says, "moved 1-12-1897 to Boston, Clermont Co, OH, kin Lyman McFarland." There things aren't so clear. If his remains were being removed to Clermont County, it makes sense that they would have been moved to Stonelick. Could they possibly have been moved to Boston Cemetery in Highland County (adjacent to Clinton County)? That seems unlikely. Could they have been moved to Boston Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery (aka Old Owensville Cemetery) in or near Owensville in Clermont County? That hardly seems likely, given that Hannah was buried in Stonelick. However, in full disclosure, it should be noted that there are F.A.G. memorials for David Carpenter (died 1860) and Margaret Carpenter (died 1850) in Boston Methodist Episcopal Cemetery. We know they are the parents of Richard Carpenter because, although Richard himself had left his parents' household before the 1850 census, his younger brother William, age 24 in 1850, was still living with his parents, and, in 1880, he's age 55, living with Richard.
