He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Thelma (Capron) Funk, 2nd wife, Mary Nellie (Sanner) Kaufman Funk; his parents; step-children, Gary Kaufman and Barbara Anderson. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Thursday May 10, 2012 at St. Mark Church with Fr. Peter Gideon and Msgr David Funk as co-celebrants. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME with virgil service at 8:00 P.M.. Originally published in the Lancaster Eagle Gazette on May 7, 2012
