Minnesota authorities told the Mitchell County Sheriff's office that Richard Ogden, 23, of Rochester, Minnesota, was on a pontoon boat on Lake Mazaska when a cooler fell overboard. Ogden's wife, Linda, told authorities her husband had left home earlier in the week, telling her he was going to seek employment. An ex-Marine Ogden had been wounded in Vietnam and won the Purple Heart and other citations. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home in Osage. Burial in Osage Cemetery.
