Richard Ric Fred Indorf was brought into this world on August 1, 1948, to Richard F. Indorf and Lillian Doan Indorf, in Denver, Colorado. He joined Our Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 13, 2005. Ric was a member of Las Vegas Lodge #32 and joined Libertas-Security Lodge #466 in March 1982. He was Past Master of Libertas Lodge #466 F & AM of California, having served this lodge as Worshipful Master in 1985. Ric was also a past Patron of Bakersfield Chapter #125 Order of the Eastern Star, having served as Patron in 1988 and 1989. In addition, he was a member of Wasco Elks Lodge #2419. He was a loving and caring father of his two children, Christi Berry and husband, Danny of Mustang, OK and Mickel Myers-Indorf and wife, Amy of Duncan, OK. He was a devoted Poppa to his grandchildren, Mickel, Jesse, Julie, Catherine and Conner. Rick is survived by one brother and three sisters, his children and grandchildren, as well as a very special provider, Louella Guyton and her family. His love of life and people allowed him to never meet a stranger and to always find some good in everyone. His life was full and rich, his children and grandchildren were the driving force of his life. His death was not a shock to him, and he always said, He would only die on accident; cause no one would do something like this on purpose. Having traveled the world and served in the Vietnam War for almost 4 years, he was no stranger to his final outcome in life, yet, like all of us he was never really fully prepared. Those whose lives he may have touched or been a part of; he hopes will remember him with kind thoughts and deeds. For he was one to forgive and forget the trespasses against him. He had a sense of humor some us of did not understand, as well as a sense of values that made him very unique to us all. He would liked for his friends and family to remember the love he had for them and remind them that he will one day see them all again. Tears should be used for the newborns of our world; for those of us who have joined with our Father in Heaven are now truly at peace with ourselves. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 16th, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary.
