Description	:	Richard Henry Warmoth, one of the early pioneers of Whitman county, died at his home near Diamond Saturday, September 26, 1903, of consumption, aged 53 years, 9 months and 28 days. The funeral was held from the Baptist church in this city Monday and was attended by an immense gathering of friends of the deceased. The services were under the auspices of the Woodmen of the World, of which lodge Mr. Warmoth was a member and the sermon was delivered by Rev. H. S. Black. Read More	Richard Henry Warmoth, one of the early pioneers of Whitman county, died at his home near Diamond Saturday, September 26, 1903, of consumption, aged 53 years, 9 months and 28 days. The funeral was held from the Baptist church in this city Monday and was attended by an immense gathering of friends of the deceased. The services were under the auspices of the Woodmen of the World, of which lodge Mr. Warmoth was a member and the sermon was delivered by Rev. H. S. Black. Interment was made according to the rites of the Woodmen order and occurred in the Colfax cemetery, the body being followed by a lengthy funeral procession. Richard Henry Warmoth came to Whitman County in 1872 from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. He located a homestead near the present site of Diamond station and has made his home there ever since, being one of the prosperous farmers of the county. He leaves a wife and four children, Edgar O. Warmoth, Nettie Warmouth, Nora Warmoth and Alta Warmoth.
