The late Mrs Hudson was one of the oldest native born residents of Ramsay, having been born in the township and having spent all of his long life there, with the exception of a few years at Muskrat Lake in his youth. In 1867 he was married to Ann Craig, who survives him. The union was blessed with eight children of whom six are still living -- Mrs J.W. Armstrong of Innisville; Mrs J.W. Hudson, of Swift Current, Sask; Walter C., of Quincy, Wash; William T. of Moose Jaw; Alex B. of Lumsden, Sask, and R.J. at home. deceased was not a an who sought public favour, being contented in the quiet life of his own immediate vicinity, but in the sphere of his acquaintances, he was held in high esteem and his death as the fulfilment of years has called forth many encomiums from those who knew him best. The funeral take place this (Thursday) afternoon to the eighth line cemetery.
