Born in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, he was a son of the late Nathan and Julia Baum Kaminski. Mr. Kaminski attended Augusta Military Academy in Virginia, the Naval Academy at Annapolis and New York University. He was a broker with the Commodities Market at New York for a number of years. Born in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, he was a son of the late Nathan and Julia Baum Kaminski. Mr. Kaminski attended Augusta Military Academy in Virginia, the Naval Academy at Annapolis and New York University. He was a broker with the Commodities Market at New York for a number of years. In 1941 he came to Georgetown to make his home and was an employee of International Paper Company. Later he was a representative and consultant for Metropolatan Life Insurance Co. He was also president and co-owner of Georgetown Agency a real estate and insurance agency. He wasa member of the board of directors for several family businesses. Mr. Kaminski was a member and former treasurer for the Georgetown Development Board a member of Pawleys Island Civic Association, member and past president of the Rotary Club of Georgetown, the Georgetown Cottilion Club, the Georgetown and SC Historical Society, Sons of the American Revolution and the Winyah Lodge No. 40, Ancient Free Masons. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Cleo Ford Kaminski; a nephew and a grand nephew and grand niece. Services will be held at 2 p, today at Duncan Memorial Methodist Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the Georgetown Memorial Hospital building fund. Mayer Funeral Home was in charge.
