Description	:	Richard, 83, Lima, died at 2:13 a.m., at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was the son of Leo and Edna (Maxwell) Dardio. On May 25, 1957, he married Margaret 'Margene' Hoehn, who preceded him in death. Surviving are two sons: Mark and Brett (Leanne) Dardio, both Lima; a daughter, Lisa (Roger) Briem, Lima; and six grandchildren. Deceased are three sisters: Mildred Hangen, Helen Orchard and Ruth Price. Retired in 2010, he was the owner of Ridar Adjusting Company for over 25 years. He was the son of Leo and Edna (Maxwell) Dardio. On May 25, 1957, he married Margaret 'Margene' Hoehn, who preceded him in death. Surviving are two sons: Mark and Brett (Leanne) Dardio, both Lima; a daughter, Lisa (Roger) Briem, Lima; and six grandchildren. Deceased are three sisters: Mildred Hangen, Helen Orchard and Ruth Price. Retired in 2010, he was the owner of Ridar Adjusting Company for over 25 years. He proudly served his country in Korea as a member of the US Navy and then served in the US Army Reserves and retired as a CW3. He was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, the Eagles Aerie 370, the Elks Lodge #54, the American Legion Post 96 and was a life member of the VFW Post 1275, where he was the editor of the Overs’eer Newsletter. He enjoyed golfing and played frequently in the Elks and the Eagles leagues. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren telling them stories. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Gerard Catholic Church, with Rev. Jim Szobonya officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted by the VFW Post 1275 and members of the US Navy.
