Description	:	Richard L. Dannelly, 68, of Norfolk, died Thursday, April 6, 2007, at St. Joseph's Rehabilitation and Care Center in Norfolk. Visitation will be 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 10, at Johnson-Stonacek Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, at Our Savior Lutheran Church. The Rev. Lee Weander and Rev. Adrian Hanft will officiate. Music soloist is Bob Marshall with Melodee Drenkow as organist. Richard Lee Dannelly was born April 8, 1938 in Genoa, Nebraska, the son of Earle Milford and Hannah Mable (Munson) Dannelly. He was baptized and confirmed at Augustana Lutheran Church in Genoa in 1952. He attended grade school and graduated from Genoa High School in 1956. He attended Luther College in Wahoo and graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln. He taught history for 10 years at Boelus, Bloomfield, Valentine and Greeley high schools. He was employed for 18 years at Lynn and Al's Grocery and at Lynn and Sons Grocery stores. He owned and operated Cozy Corner Café in Dodge for several years, retiring in 1992. He married Gertrude Suckstorf on July 3, 1972, in Norfolk. They lived in Norfolk. He was active with the Christ Lutheran Church writers group, taught Sunday school, sang in the church choir and was on the Board of Evangelism. Surviving are his wife, Gertrude; and one son, Paul (Lynn) Dannelly. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-father and one daughter in infancy. Norfolk Daily News, Apr 7, 2007
