Description	:	R.Y. Thompson Dies At Home On Saturday Funeral services were held Monday Afternoon at two o'clock at the Hengstler Funeral chapel for R.Y. Thompson, who passed away at his home Sept. 29, with the Very Rev. Joseph B. Falke officiating. Pallbearers were Fred Hasenpflug, Norman Burns, John Neyens, Ivan Copeland, Joseph Ryan and Gurney Gentzler. Richard Y. Thompson was born at Sidney, Ia. July 5, 1876. He came to Creighton in 1905 and on June 30, 1908 he was married to Carrie Mecke. to this union were born seven children.
