Description	:	Rienk Reins Zijlstra was born in the mun. Smallingerland in the eastern part of the Dutch northern province Friesland. On July 6, 1885 farmer Rienk Zijlstra, 50 years aged, arrives with his wife Geertje and seven children on the SS Pieter Caland from the city Nijmegen in east Nederland at New York, Castle Garden.
