Description	:	Rita Marie Haughian Morford, 56, of Miles City passed away on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer, at her home surrounded by her family. Rita was born on April 21, 1951, in Miles City, the daughter of Leo and Anna May (Ziebarth) Haughian. Rita attended elementary school at Saugus, Kinsey and Terry. She attended Terry High School and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Miles City in May of 1969. Read More	Rita Marie Haughian Morford, 56, of Miles City passed away on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer, at her home surrounded by her family. Rita was born on April 21, 1951, in Miles City, the daughter of Leo and Anna May (Ziebarth) Haughian. Rita attended elementary school at Saugus, Kinsey and Terry. She attended Terry High School and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Miles City in May of 1969. Following her schooling, she attended Montana State University at Bozeman from Sept. of 1969 to June of 1973, graduating with a degree in physical education. Rita and John Morford were married April 21, 1979, in Miles City. Rita worked for United Parcel Service from July of 1976 to January of 2007. She loved her flowers and garden, horses, reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and following Chris and Kelly in their sports. Rita was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eagles, CCQHA, National Honor Society, 4-H, Wrestling Booster Club, MCYBA, Teamsters Union, was the 1969 Montana High School Rodeo All Around Champion and was a four-time National Qualifier. Rita's survivors include her husband, John Morford of Miles City; two sons, Chris Morford of Miles City and Kelly Morford of Libby; her mother, Anna May Haughian of Kinsey; four sisters, Dalice (Jeff) Landers and Geri (Rob) Kincheloe, both of Miles City, Darla (Jed) Wier of Lake Elmo, Minn., and Lori (Tim) Herron of Havre; a brother, Alyn Haughian of Kinsey; her mother and father-in-law, Wayne and Mila Morford of Miles City; a sister-in-law, Kathi Ferguson of Billings; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Rita was preceded in death by her father, Leo Haughian; and a mother-in-law, Jackie Brown. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City. Rite of Committal will follow in the Old Calvary Cemetery in Miles City.
