Description	:	Robert Allen Waterhouse Sr., 82, of the Grace Hill community west of Washington, died Thursday , April 10, 2003, at his home following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 14, at First Church of God in Brighton with the Rev. Larry Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington; with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. Mr. Waterhouse was born on January 1, 1921, west of Brighton in the Clay community to Max and Maude (Woodford )Waterhouse. Me married Olletha Zickefoose in Brighton on Jun 23, 1940. Mr. Waterhouse graduated from Brighton High School in 1938. He was a member of First Church of God in Brighton; and served in the US Navy during World War !!. He took part in the invasion of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He was a farmer, sawmill operator, seed corn salesman, and he sold and serviced chainsaws. Mr. Waterhouse is survived by his wife, Olletha, of Grace Hill; two sons, Robert Jr. and wife Connie of Washington; and James and wife Berna of Keota; one daughter, Joy Miller and husband Dennis of Keota; one sister, Louise Engel and husband Eugene of Washington; 10 grandchldren; and 35 great-grandchildren. Mr. Waterhouse was preceded in death by his parents; one son, David; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Maxine Waterhouse and Irene Stacey.
