Mr. Logan, a veteran of the First Great War, went overseas as Lieut. Paymaster in 1916 with the 112th Overseas Battalion C E F, and since returning home has been in good health. About 22 years ago he received the appointment of Registrar of Deeds for Lunenburg County, which he held until a few months ago. A son of the late Robert A Logan and Guilena Kitchen Logan, natives of Pictou County, he was born at Bridgewater where his father conducted a business. Surviving are three sisters, Mary, Mrs H. Keown, Regina, Sask.; Lila, Mrs N. McGoun, Westmount, Montreal; and Miss Anne Logan, New York; and one brother Harold Logan in Louisiana. One brother William Logan was a casualty of World War No. 1. Mr. Logan was gifted with a rich bass voice and was always ready and willing to give of his talent for the benefit and pleasure of others. A member of St. John's United Church, he was a valued member of the choir and soloist for many years. Affiliated with many town organizations, he was a member of A.F. and A.M., a Kiwanian, a member of the Curling Club, the Tennis Club, and a former member of the Golf Club, and of the Bridgewater Branch of the Canadian Legion B.E.S.L. In politics he was a staunch Liberal. Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending word from members of the family. (1945) With thanks to Ron Zinck. Robert B. Logan Robert B. Logan, son of the late R. A. Logan and Mrs. Logan, died at the D.M. Hospital this morning at seven o'clock. He was a veteran of the First Great War. He had been in ill health for several years, only recently returning from Camp Hill Hospital, Halifax, where he had gone for treatment. For many years he had held the office of Registrar of Deeds at Bridgewater. He resigned about four years ago on account of ill health.
