He was born October 19, 1936 in Stokes County to the late Major & Mattie Lou Corns Collins. Mr. Collins was a farmer and of the Primitive Baptist Faith. Read More	DANBURY, NC ~ Mr. Robert Clayburn Collins, loving husband, father & grandfather, age 76, of Danbury, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born October 19, 1936 in Stokes County to the late Major & Mattie Lou Corns Collins. Mr. Collins was a farmer and of the Primitive Baptist Faith. Robert was a good hearted, hard working man who always had a smile on his face. He will be deeply missed by everyone. He is survived by his wife, Nan Mabe Collins of the home; sons, Robert T. Collins (Vickie), Kent Collins, David Keith Collins (Libby), Stanley Craig Collins, Darryl Lee Collins (Lisa), Harold Clayton Collins (Rhonda), Randall Dale Collins (Pam) and Kevin Wayne Collins (Calandra) all of Danbury; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and sisters, Alice Wilmoth of Danbury, Pauline McHone of Westfield and Ruth Alma Wilmoth of Danbury. In addition to his parents, Mr. Collins was preceded in death by four brothers. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Howell-Nelson Funeral Chapel of Pilot Mountain conducted by Rev. Donald Chandler, Rev. JR Shelton and Herman Mabe with interment to follow at the Collins Family Cemetery near the home in Danbury. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 6-8 at Howell-Nelson Funeral Service of Pilot Mountain.
