Read More	WILMOTH DANBURY Ruth Alma Collins Wilmoth Sept. 2, 1927-Jan. 28, 2015 Mrs. Ruth Alma Collins Wilmoth, 87, went home to be with her Lord and savior on Wednesday evening, January 28, 2015 at her home. She was born September 2, 1927 in Stokes County to Major and Mattie Lou Corns Collins. Ruth was a member of Gospel Baptist Church for 20 years. Mrs. Wilmoth was a Homemaker and loved making quilts and taking care of her family. A 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Lawsonville Baptist Church with Pastor Donald McHone and Pastor Roscoe Bowden Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Wilmoth, son, Toby Wilmoth, infant daughter, Mary Ruth Wilmoth, six brothers, Howard, Marion, George, Robert, and Walter Collins, sister, Alice Wilmoth, daughter -in-law, Elaine Wilmoth, son-in-law, Calvin McHone, and great granddaughter Amber Bullins. Surviving are her much loved family: four sons, Billy Wilmoth (Emma), Donnie Wilmoth (Margaret), Bobby Wilmoth (Tammy), Roger Wilmoth (Regina), four daug-hters, Alma McHone, Martha Cardwell (RJ), Betty Hawkins (Dwight), and Melissa Smith, sister Pauline McHone, two Sisters-in-law, Nan Collins, and Dovie Wilmoth, 13 grand children, 33 great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015 at Lawsonville Baptist Church and other times at the home of her son Bobby G. Wilmoth. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to Lawsonville Baptist Church C/O Cemetery fund, 1021 Wess Hall Road, Danbury, NC 27016 Burroughs Funeral in Walnut Cove is serving the Wilmoth family.
