Description	:	Services Held Thursday For Accident Victim Funeral services for Robert Brandhagen were held last Thursday afternoon at the First Methodist church in Miller, with the Rev. Cecil Miller officiating at the rites. Burial was in the G.A.R cemetery. Brandhagen was killed Sunday, May 112, when his light plane crashed, after it is thought to have gone into a spin. The accident occurred a short distance from his farm home. Robert Brandhagen was born at Highmore, South Dakota, October 26, 1930. He was the only child of Anton and Gladys Brandhagen. Robert was educated in the country schools and had his high school training at Miller. He worked on the farm with his father who preceded him in death. On September 28, 1952, he married Harriet Evon Speirs. He entered the U.S. Army on February 11, 1954. He was stationed at Ft. Riley, Kan., and at Ft. Sill, Okla., where he received his training as a Helicopter mechanic. After his training he was returned to Ft. Riley where he was a "Crew Chief" until his separation from the army o February 10, 1956. On coming home he again returned to farming. He leaves to survive: his wife, year old son, and his mother. He was a member of the Methodist Church and at the last quarterly conference was made a Steward of the church. May 24, 1957
