Description	:	Robt D Brunton died at his residence in the Fifth ward on Thursday morning at 2:30 o'clock. The deceased had been in poor health for some time but his death came unexpectedly and sudden. the funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the family residence, 504 South State Street, and at 2:30 o'clock from the Baptist church. He settled first in Ohio and later in Pennsylvania and in 1875 came to Boone, which has been his home since. In 1865 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary --- at Bedford PA. Nine children survive as follows; W.W., Mrs R.T. Duckworth, Joseph, George, Elizabeth, James, and Ruth of Boone; Robert of San Diego, California, and Alex of Pueblo, Colorado. The deceased was a member of Boonsboro Lodge No 324 Knight of Pythias, who were in charge of the funeral.
