Description	:	Robert "Bob" Sisemore, 86, passed away at the Denver Health Sciences Center on Oct. 1, 2009, with family at his side. Bob was born on April 30, 1923 in Hooper, Colo. to Mora Barnes Sisemore and Joe Clark Sisemore. His father died when he was one year old leaving his mother to raise six children by herself. When Bob was twelve years old, his mother married Raymond Webb, and the family moved to Crestone. Bob graduated from Moffat High School in 1941. Read More	Robert "Bob" Sisemore, 86, passed away at the Denver Health Sciences Center on Oct. 1, 2009, with family at his side. Bob was born on April 30, 1923 in Hooper, Colo. to Mora Barnes Sisemore and Joe Clark Sisemore. His father died when he was one year old leaving his mother to raise six children by herself. When Bob was twelve years old, his mother married Raymond Webb, and the family moved to Crestone. Bob graduated from Moffat High School in 1941. During World War II, he worked at the Continental Airlines modification center where B-29 bomber planes were being prepared for flights to Saipan. One of these planes was later called the Enola Gay. In 1948, Bob married Eileen Leaver. Their 61st wedding anniversary was celebrated this past August. At that time, Bob worked throughout eastern Colorado when the REA was first wiring farms and ranches for electricity. Bob then worked for 34-years for the Colorado Motor Vehicle Department and retired in 1989. Bob loved hunting, fishing, and working on his old cars. He was redoing a 1931 Model A Ford at the time of his death. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. He is survived by his wife Eileen and daughters Elaine Johnson (Steve McDowell) and Maura Sisemore (Carroll Allison); grandchildren Paul (Emily) Bradley, Luke Bradley, Ashley (Eli) Wald, and Matt Johnson, great-grandchildren Quinlan Bradley and Ethan Wald, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in the Crestone Cemetery at 1 pm on Fri, Oct. 9, 2009.
