Description	:	Robert E. Wilson passed away on May 27th 2015, at Winship Green, Bath ME. Robert was born November 13th, 1934 on Orr's Island. He was the son of Clifton R. and Edwinna J. Wilson. He went to school at the Orr's Island School House. Robert enlisted in the Navy in 1952 and was discharged in 1960 from the reserves. Robert was a Veteran of the Korean War. Robert married Mary E. Wilson passed away on May 27th 2015, at Winship Green, Bath ME. Robert was born November 13th, 1934 on Orr's Island. He was the son of Clifton R. and Edwinna J. Wilson. He went to school at the Orr's Island School House. Robert enlisted in the Navy in 1952 and was discharged in 1960 from the reserves. Robert was a Veteran of the Korean War. Robert married Mary E. Cheney Wilson in 1959, they settled on Orr's Island. He worked for Scandia Seafood for many years. He later worked as a lobsterman for Cooks's Lobster and did so until his passing. He loved hunting, camping, going to Topsham Fair to watch the horse races, watching the Red Sox and taking long rides around Maine enjoying the northern parts of the state of Maine looking for wildlife. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Mary E. Cheney Wilson, who passed away July 27th, 2002. Robert is survived by two sons, Edward E. Wilson and his wife Barbara G. Wilson of Brunswick, ME., Mark E. Wilson and his wife Penelope J. Wilson of Orr's Island , ME. Robert's grandchildren; Bryan D. Wilson and Kevin M. Wilson of Brunswick, ME., Mark E. Wilson, Jr. and his wife Amelia E. Wilson of Orr's Island, Marcia E. Wilson Giles and her husband Trevor Giles of Cundy's Harbor, ME., Meridith J. Wilson of Orr's Island, ME., Great granddaughter, Brooklynn G. Wilson, of Brunswick, ME., and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Orr's Island Cemetery, Sunday June 7th, 2015 at 11am with a reception immediately following at the Orr's island School House on Orr's Island, ME. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Brackett Funeral Home, Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donaton to the Orr's and Bailey Island's Fire and Rescue at P.O.
