Description	:	SWAILS, ROBERT G.-- Robert G. Swails was born in Rush county, Indiana, October 1, 1833. He died December 21, 1912, at the home of his son, W. O. Swails, in Clarksdale, Mo., aged 79 years, 2 months and 20 days. He was married to Louisa J. Albright October 31, 1854, who survives him. Read More	SWAILS, ROBERT G.-- Robert G. Swails was born in Rush county, Indiana, October 1, 1833. He died December 21, 1912, at the home of his son, W. O. Swails, in Clarksdale, Mo., aged 79 years, 2 months and 20 days. He was married to Louisa J. Albright October 31, 1854, who survives him. To this union were born twelve children of whom eight are still living: Mrs. Josephine White of St. Joseph, Mo., Jacob G. and John C. of Geneva, Neb., George W. of Arcadia, Ok., Ira F. of Chandler, Ok., Mrs. Viola Frantz of Soldier, Kas., W. O. and E. D. of Clarksdale, Mo. He leaves twenty-seven grandchildren and six great grand children. Mr. Swails was a consistent Christian, being a member of the Baptist church for more than forty years. Since 1894 Mr. Swails and his wife have resided most of the time in or near Geneva. On Thanksgiving Day the family reunion was held in Clarksdale and all the children were present. Mr. Swails was able to go to the table and return thanks. All the children were able to attend the funeral except the two sons residing in Oklahoma. By the death of Mr. Swails the wife has lost a faithful husband, the children a kind and loving father and Geneva a good citizen. The body arrived in Geneva Monday noon and was conveyed to the late home of the deceased. The funeral took place from the Free Will Baptist church in Geneva at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. C. Wheeler. The interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal December 26th, 1912 page 1.
