| Description | : | Robert Harrison was born in 1812 in County Armagh, Ireland. It is unclear the year that he immigrated to Canada but the 1851 & 1861 census records indicate that he owned land in Middleton, Norfolk, Canada West (Ontario). He was married to Mary (Clark) Harrison (1808-1887). The couple had three sons: James (1845-1934), William (1849-1932) and Robert (Dec. 1850- 1925). Sometime after 1861, the family moved to a farm on the 4th Concession, Lot 27- in Amaranth, Dufferin, Ontario. Robert Sr. died on 20 June 1869 at the age of 57 years. Family Search ID: LYT2-768 |
