He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was born May 27, 1924 and graduate from Baker County High School after serving in the United States Army during W.W. HART Mr. Robert Hart, age 80,. of Macclenny, FL. died January 15, 2005 after a lengthy illness. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was born May 27, 1924 and graduate from Baker County High School after serving in the United States Army during W.W. II, receiving an honorable discharge in December 1945. He was always quick with a joke and willing to lend a helping hand, and throughout his long illness, he maintained his gentle spirit and clever sense of humor. After leaving the Military he worked in the construction industry for more than 50 years. He also worked 10 years as a vocational instructor in the corrections systems, where he taught construction as a rehabilitation method. He was a life long member of the Carpenters Union Local 627 Jacksonville, Fl. He shared his talents and appreciation of a job well done with many over the years and was known as a true master craftsman. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Macclenny. Survivors include his wife of 58 y ears, Yvonne M. Hicks Hart, daughters; Brenda of Macclenny and Rebecca (Todd) of Jacksonville Beach. One son; Robert M. "Bobby" (Cheryl) Hart of Taylor, FL. sister; Nellie Farris of Macclenny. five grandsons; Dustin (Tyleen), Jonathan , Adam, Jacob and Alexander. Many loving friends and family, will greatly miss his quick, sweet smile. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Jan. 18, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church of Macclenny with Pastor Edsel Bone officiating. Interment will follow in Manntown Cemetery Glen St. Mary, Fl. The family will receive friends from 6-9 P.M. Monday (TODAY) in the chapel of V. TODD FERREIRA FUNERAL SERVICES 904-259-5700 250 North Lowder Street (23-A) Macclenny, Fl. Memorials maybe made to the "Bound For Glory" fund in his name, in care of First Baptist Church of Macclenny. Pall bearers; grandsons, Dustin Hart, Jonathan Hart, Adam Swisher, Son-in-law; Todd Blaudow, nephew; Glenn Hart and lifelong neighbor and friend; Clyde Lampman.
