Brincks of Carroll will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll. Mr. Brincks, 72, of 905 E. 12th St., died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at Carroll Health Center. The Rev. Joseph Dillinger will preside at the Mass. Lector will be Renee Brincks. Gift bearers will be Nick and Travis Brincks, and Lindsey and Kristy Mohr. Casket bearers will be Randy Lohman, Dan Bauer, Glenn Langel, Dan Golwitzer, Dave Lohman and Rick Halbur. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery at Willey. Visitation started at 2:30 and a rosary was prayed at 3 this afternoon at Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. There will be a vigil service at 7 and another rosary at 8 tonight at the funeral home. Born April 11, 1928, at Willey, he was a son of Herman and Theresia (Von Bonn) Brincks and attended St. Mary School at Willey. He and Florabell Bruning were married April 27, 1954, at St. Bernard Church in Breda. The Brinckses farmed near Willey until 1987, when they retired and moved to Carroll. Mr. Brincks was a member of St. Joseph Parish. Survivors include his wife, Florabell, of Carroll; five children and their spouses: Lois and Dennis Hoffman of Coon Rapids, Betty and Martin Mohr of Westside, Gene and Joni Brincks of Carroll, Jerry and Renee Brincks of Carroll and Mary and Mike Rohner of Jefferson; 14 grandchildren; four sisters and their husbands: Rose Meiners of Carroll, Bertha Lohman of Carroll, Loretta and Alvin Lohman of Carroll and Marcella and Arnold Golwitzer of Carroll; and three sisters-in-law: Inez Halbur of Breda, Mrs. Ardis Bauer of Carroll and Ivadell Langel and her husband, Jerome, of Templeton. Mr. Brincks was preceded in death by his parents; his parents-in-law: Herman and Bernardine Bruning; a granddaughter, Amy Jo Brincks; and a brother, Lavern Brincks.
