Description	:	From his obituary found on legacy.com: he was the son of the late Brian Jennings and Tully O. Estridge Jones. Industrious from his youth, he began his working life as a paperboy. Later on, his summers were spent helping to ship out the local peach crop, where he earned the nickname "Casey" as he walked back and forth along the train tracks, making sure that all the freight car doors were properly fastened. After graduating from Spartanburg High School in 1944, Mr. Jones attended Wofford College in Spartanburg. Service to his country briefly interrupted his education: he served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1946, after which he completed his A.B. degree at Wofford in 1949. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Mr. Jones moved to Columbia to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he received his LL.B. degree in 1952. He was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe, and a member of the International Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta Phe as well. He briefly practiced law in Spartanburg before settling in Columbia in the employment of the Farm Credit Banks of Columbia. He retired from that institution after nearly forty years, concluding his legal career as the Assistant Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ann Goff Jones; sisters Mary Waldrep (Hubert), Carol Riddle (Rhett), and Joyce Atkins; daughter Robin Riggs (Tyler); and grandchildren...
