Description	:	Robert L. Roshone, 88, of St. Paul died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Heritage Living Center in St. Paul. Robert was born December 16, 1924 in St. Paul to Ardre & Veronica (Rojewski) Roshone. Robert attended and graduated from Palmer High School in 1941. Upon graduation he moved to Wyoming where he worked for various ranches and led pack trips into the Wind River Mountains for the Box R Ranch at Cora, Wyoming. Roshone, 88, of St. Paul died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Heritage Living Center in St. Paul. Robert was born December 16, 1924 in St. Paul to Ardre & Veronica (Rojewski) Roshone. Robert attended and graduated from Palmer High School in 1941. Upon graduation he moved to Wyoming where he worked for various ranches and led pack trips into the Wind River Mountains for the Box R Ranch at Cora, Wyoming. On September 26, 1944 he joined the United States Army and served until receiving his discharge on August 2, 1946. He then moved to Tucson, Arizona. During that time he worked as a wrangler for guest ranches including the Hacienda del Sol at Tucson, Bishops Lodge in California and the Los Cabellaros in Wickenburg, Arizona. While he was in Tucson, he met and married Mary Stewart Rice on December 24, 1955. After their retirement from the Los Cabellaros they spent summers in Hawaii. In 2005, he moved to St. Paul and lived the remainder of his life here. He loved the cowboy life. He always said he had a good life, good wife and a few good horses. Robert worked at Ben's Saddlery in Wickenburg, making saddles and doing leather work. He enjoyed volunteering at Desert Cabellaros Western Museum in Wickenburg. Robert is survived by: sister Jean Christensen of St. Paul; nieces Shirley & Dennis Brandt of St. Paul, Connie & Elton Flodman of Hordville, Loretta & Mick McDowell of St. Paul and Gayle & Gary Render of Florida. Robert is preceded in death by parents; wife, Mary in 2002; great nephew, Randy Francis; and brother-in-law, Albert Christensen.
