Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m., in the Ohiowa Cemetery. Sorensen was born July 8, 1926, to Clarence and Karen Sorensen, Nora. He lived in the Nelson-Hardy area until 1943, when with his family, moved to Ohiowa where he graduated from high school in 1944. He served in the United States Army from 1944 until 1946 and was employed by Prairie Maid Meats Company for 20 years. April 20,1947, he was united in marriage with Delores Bornschlegl, and to that union five children, Cynthia, Robert Jr., Gregory, Judith and Michael, were born. Survivors include his wife, Delores; children, Cynthia Dahl of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Robert Jr,, of Wayne, Neb., Gregory and Judith Agnew of Lincoln and Michael of Sacramento, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Jason and Chris Dahl, Devin, Cari and Jake Sorensen, Aimee and Brian Agnew and Stephanie Sorensen; a sister, Evelyn Heater, Hastings; and many other relatives.
