Description	:	Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Sunday at 2:30 p. m. for Robert Ballain, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ballain. Samuel Lee, pastor of the Champion Hill church, was in charge of the service. The pallbearers were Myron Ballain and Frederick Fritz, uncles of Robert, Kenneth Hall and Howard Morrison. Music was furnished by Evelyn Shook, Frederick Larson and Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Honeyman with LaVerne Carson accompanist. Misses Mary Arneel and Ruth Gofer were in charge of the floral offerings. About 4 p. m. the doctor was called again and the little fellow was taken to the Red Oak hospital immediately where he passed away about two hours later. The body was removed to the Emerson Funeral Home where it lay in state until Sunday. Robert Lee Ballain, son of Marguerite and Cecil Ballatn, was born Aug. 13, 1934 at Strahan, la., and passed away Jan. 5, 1940 at the age of five years, four months and 23 days. He was baptized in tbe Champion Hill Presbyterian church Jupe 16, 193* and has been a regular attendant of the Methodist Sunday school. Besides his parents he leaves to mourn his passing two brothers, Raleigh and Charles, two sisters, Catherine and Evelyn Joan, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ballain and Mrs. T. E. Craig, two great grandmothers, Mrs. Barbara Ballain and Mrs. Albert Binau, one great grandfather, Albert Blnau, two uncles, Myron Ballain and Frederick Fritz, two great uncles, Fred Dlckersbach, Malvern, and John Dlckersbach, Shenandoah; a great aunt, Mrs. Caroline Anderson, Omaha; besides his little friends and teacher and a score of relatives.
