Read More	Obituary for Rebecca Frieze Rebecca Frieze, age 61 of Tabor, IA, died Friday, September 11, 2020 at Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE following an extended illness. Rebecca was born February 8, 1959 in Omaha, NE to Cecil Ballan and Florence (Goodman) Ballan. She was married to Donald Perry Frieze on November 28, 1981 in Council Bluffs, IA. Rebecca worked for the Tabor Manor for 33 years, 5 as a Nurse's Aide and 28 years in the Kitchen. Rebecca was close with her family and with Don's. She and Don enjoyed traveling throughout the Country together sometimes getting in the car with no destination in mind, just started driving. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cindy Barnhart; brother, Mark Ballan; and sister-in-law, Judy Frieze. She is survived her husband, Donald Frieze of Tabor, IA; step son, Doug Frieze and wife Renate of Sidney, IA; brother, Cecil Ballan of Shenandoah, IA; 3 sisters-in-law, Barb Brown, Ruth Brown and husband Claude all of Council Bluffs, IA and Joyce Morriss and husband Sonny of Ringling, OK; brother-in-law. Robert Frieze of Council Bluffs; 2 step brothers-in-law, John Frieze and Marvin Frieze both of Council Bluffs; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation with the family greeting friends will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Crawford-Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor, IA. There will be a Prayer Service during the Visitation Thursday, the time to be determined, with Pastor KC BeDunnah of the Southside Christian Church in Council Bluffs, IA officiating. Memorials will go the family. Cremation will follow the visitation with interment of ashes later in the Emerson, IA Cemetery. There will be a Spaghetti Fundraiser for Rebecca on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Southside Christian Church, 1919 South 10th Street in Council Bluffs, IA. The Crawford-Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor, IA is in charge of arrangements.
