Cotton of the Euclid Ave. M.E. church of Topeka, and burial was in the Burlingame cemetery. Robert Lewis, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. WILLIAMSON of Topeka, was born in Moline, Illinois, August 2, 1914, and passed away at the home of his parents, 2508 Fillmore, Topeka, Kansas, February 14, 1931, making him at the time of his death 16 years, 6 months and 12 days old. He lived two years at Moline, Illinois and a short time in Missouri, after which the family moved to the community of Burlingame, Kansas, where they made their home for six years. In 1922 he moved with his parents to Topeka where he has ever since resided at the present location. Robert graduated from the eighth grade in his home district and entered the Topeka high school were he was a sophopmore at the time of his death. He distinguished himself as a student of exceptional ability. During vacation time he caddied at the Country Club Golf Course, played golf, and won several high prizes and medals. About three weeks ago he was taken ill with flu and a relapse developed into pneumonia which was acute from the first and soon ran its course. He leaves to mourn his departure, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. WILLIAMSON, one brother, W.L. WILLIAMSON, and one sister, Mrs. Dan MAHONEY, three neices, Evelyn, Arline and Lois MAHONEY all of Topeka, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. "Sleep on dear son and take thy rest, 'tis hard to part but God knows best."
