Thursday. Born in Chartiers Township August 28, 1882, Mr. Hamilton was a son of the late Robert D. and Sarah Morgan Hamilton and had lived in the Houston vicinity his entire life. Thursday. Born in Chartiers Township August 28, 1882, Mr. Hamilton was a son of the late Robert D. and Sarah Morgan Hamilton and had lived in the Houston vicinity his entire life. His home was on Western avenue. A retired hardware merchant, he had been a partner in the Hamilton and Barbour Hardware Store in Houston for many years. Mr. Hamilton was a member of the Houston United Presbyterian Church and was a charter member of the Houston Volunteer Fire Department, but had been inactive the past few years because of his health. Surviving are his wife, Elva Barbour Hamilton; one son, Clair B., of Canonsburg; one daughter, Helen, wife of Glenn Patsch, Annville; two brothers, Charles M., Canonsburg, R. D. 1, and I. Y., of Muse; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Riggle, Houston; Mrs. Ray Plunkett, Houston, and Mrs. Hazel Paxton, Washington, R. D. 1; and four grandchildren. Friends may call at the Speakman Funeral Home, where services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p. m. in charge of his pastor, Dr. E. V. Condron. Interment will be in Oak Spring Cemetery.
