Mr. Millwood was born April 10, 1944, a son of the late Foster Millwood and Louise (Inman) Millwood. He was formerly employed with Miliken and Company and was a member of Skull Shoals Baptist Church in Cherokee County. Mr. Millwood was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Mr. Millwood was born April 10, 1944, a son of the late Foster Millwood and Louise (Inman) Millwood. He was formerly employed with Miliken and Company and was a member of Skull Shoals Baptist Church in Cherokee County. Mr. Millwood was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his very special niece, Becky Wade with whom his made his home, a niece, Joyce Toney of Union; a nephew, Clay Millwood and wife Deloris of Chester; a special cousin, Joe Smith of Gaffney and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Millwood was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters: Bill Millwood, Early Millwood, Fred Millwood, Clyde Millwood, Lee Millwood, Hope Millwood, Mary Henderson and Nellie Petty. Funeral services were held 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Skull Shoals Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Randy Phillips and the Rev. Gonzalee Childers. Burial followed in Lockhart Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Clay Millwood, Bryant Toney, Jackie Smith, Bill Wade, Ron Poston and Rusty Millwood. The family received friends Monday, November 14, 2011 from 6:30 until 8:30 PM at the S.R.
