He was united in marriage to Maria Williamson, August 15, 1874 at Stockton, England. They came to this country in 1882 and settled in Avery, Iowa. Read More	Son of Joseph and Ann Bentley Parker Married Maria Williamson August 15, 1874 Obit in Ottumwa Courier Robert Parker was born in Yorkshire, England, March 28, 1852 and died September 24, 1925, at his home in Ottumwa. He was united in marriage to Maria Williamson, August 15, 1874 at Stockton, England. They came to this country in 1882 and settled in Avery, Iowa. They moved to Ottumwa thirty years ago and have made their home here since that time. Twelve children were born to this union, four in England and eight in this country.. Five sons preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maria Parker; two daughters, Mrs. Michael Carr and Mrs. George Beddow of Ottumwa; five sons, Thomas, Joseph, Charles and Robert Jr. of Ottumwa and John of Ft. Dodge. Four brothers living in England also survive him. He was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church of Ottumwa, of the U. M. W. A. union and also of the Homesteaders Lodge of Ottumwa. Funeral services were held at his home, 414 South Ransom street September 26, at2:30, conducted by Rev. N. E. Lamely. Burial was made in the Shaul cemetery
