Surviving are his wife Lucille; a son Millard S. Ash, and a daughter, Mrs. Perry Johnson, both of Cedar Rapids; two step daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Smith and Arlene Smith, both of Cedar Rapids, and a stepson Ira Hatter of Palo; five grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; and a sister Golda Ash of Cedar Rapids. Mr. Ash was a member of the Bethany Congregational church. Memorial services: Congregational church at Edgewood at 11 a.m. Wednesday conducted by the Rev. Mary White. Burial: Edgewood Cemetery. Friends may call the Turner chapel, Cedar Rapids, until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
