Description	:	OBIT: Robert Taylor, 70, of Ellensburg, died Sunday at Royal Vista Care Center. He was born in Ellensburg on April 16, 1918 to William F. and Bertha (Hanson) Taylor. He attended Ellensburg schools and served in the U. S. army Air Corps during World War II. He was employed as a mail carrier for 33 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, the Elks Lodge and the National Rural Letter Carriers Association. He also was an avid rock hunter. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Robert (Rusty) Taylor of Ellensburg and Roger William Taylor of Everett; one daughter, Kathie Painter of Salem, Oregon; six grandchildren; one brother, Floyd Taylor, and one sister, Eva Cooper, both of Ellensburg. Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Rollin Swanson officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Frist Lutheran Church or the Cancer Fund.
