Description	:	WICHITA – Robert W. Howard, 80, died on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at his home in Wichita, Kansas. He was born May 21, 1936, at Belle Plaine, Kansas, the son of Adenia (Smith) and Wayne C. Howard. He married Minnie Jo Tarr on September 18, 1954, at The Church of Christ in Wichita, Kansas. Robert attended the First Mennonite Brethren Church, since moving to Wichita. Robert enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends. He worked for Data Center, Inc. of Hutchinson for 20 years, retiring in 1998. Howard, 80, died on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at his home in Wichita, Kansas. He was born May 21, 1936, at Belle Plaine, Kansas, the son of Adenia (Smith) and Wayne C. Howard. He married Minnie Jo Tarr on September 18, 1954, at The Church of Christ in Wichita, Kansas. Robert attended the First Mennonite Brethren Church, since moving to Wichita. Robert enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends. He worked for Data Center, Inc. of Hutchinson for 20 years, retiring in 1998. Preceding him in death were: his parents and a brother, Ronald Howard. Survivors include: his wife Jo of Wichita; son, Tim (Cindy) Howard, Wichita; two daughters, Valeria (Kenny) Mullen, Hutchinson, Marylnn (Kevin) Ingwerson, Andover; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 2 to 8 p.m. with the family greeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the First Mennonite Brethren Church, 8000 W. 21st, Wichita, Kansas. Pastor Lynne Smith will be presiding. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. at the Mulvane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to First Mennonite Brethren online at firstmbchurch.org or mail donations to the church at 8000 W. 21st, Wichita, Kansas 67205.
