Description	:	Robert Wade "Bob" Chadwick, 84, of 105 S. Ferry St., died at 4:30 pm June 12, 2011, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center. He was born on Nov. 9, 1926, in Bloomfield to Levi and Ruth Christhy Chadwick. He married Ethel Faye"Peggy"Craig on April 18, 1948. She preceded him in death on June 4, 2005. A graduate of Bloomfield High School in 1945, he served in the U.S.Army during World War II. He was a member of O.B.Nelson Post #3 of the American Legion, Walter B. Schafer Post #775 Veterans of Foreign Wars and a 50-year member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #114. Surviving are a stepson, James"Jim"(Kathy)Johnson of Reeds Spring, MO.; four grandchildren, Chris L. Johnson, Kelly(Jerry)Shaw, Craig(Rohonda)Johnson, Kim(Todd)Robinson, all of Ottumwa; six great-grandchildren, Derek(Kim)Shaw, Jessica(Matt)Richmond, Ashley Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Kelsey and Ryley Robinson; four great-great-grandchildren, Ava Howell, Johnnie Paxton, Cleo and Gavin Shaw; four sisters, Alice(Wesley)Harder of Sequim, Wash., Jean Keohler of Burlington, JoAnn(John)Hunter of Seymour, Joyce(Doran)Pence of Bloomfield; and a brother, John(Laneta)Chadwick of Bloomfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Martin and Carl Chadwick; and four sisters, Doris Spurgeon, Mary Lee Lyons, Judith and Jeanette Chadwick. Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Sneller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery with military services conducted by Walter B. Schafer Post #775 Veterans fof Foreign Wars and O.B.Nelson Post #3 of the American Legion. Visitation will begin at 1 pm Tuesday. The family will be present one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
