Description	:	Roberta Fay Ridgway Selby, 94, of Worthington, Ohio died Friday, July 31, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. A memorial Service for Roberta will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11 a.m. At the Indianola Church of Christ, 2141 Indianola Avenue, with Chaplain Phil Williams of Worthington Christian Village officiating. Read More	Roberta Fay Ridgway Selby, 94, of Worthington, Ohio died Friday, July 31, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Burial will be held at a later date in Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield, Nebraska. Roberta was born in Memphis, Nebraska on November 8, 1920 to the late Roy James and Thelka Maria (Busboom) Ridgway. She was the fourth of nine children. She was the salutatorian of her graduating class of 1938. Roberta was a graduate of Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary. She married Charles William Selby on August 18, 1941. In 1947 Charles and Roberta went to the Philippines as missionaries and established the Philippine Mission Churches of Christ of Northern Luzon, Inc. in which she labored with Charles for over 50 years. Their work established a Seminary, three Christian high schools, a Children's home and, in their final years, a hospital. Out of these ministries, they developed printing, child-youth-adult evangelism, radio, and aviation ministries. All was done with the purpose of bringing countless people to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Charles died on December 19, 2004 at the age of 83, but their work in the Philippines lives today. Roberta wrote a book detailing their life together and their work in the Philippines, it was published in 2005 called, "Go - I Will Go with You". Roberta is survived by her sons, Lloyd (Marivic) Selby of Columbus, Ohio, Richard Charles (Carol) Selby of Dickinson, Texas, and Robert William (Lory) Selby of Encino, California; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Dean (Merle) Ridgway of Magnolia, Texas; sister, Marjory (Sidney) Boudreaux of Joplin, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Selby and her sisters, Bernice Munyan, Erva Ridgway, Wilma King, and June Fehl; Brothers, Roy Ridgway, Jr. and James Ridgway. Friends may call at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, Friday, August 7, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to PMCCPhilippine Mission, Northern Luzon Ministries, 2830 Gordon Drive, Kingman, AZ 86409, or Worthington Christian Village Benevolent Fund in her memory.
