Roberta was born April 28, 1930 in Hardin County, to Lewis and Elsie (Patterson) Spencer who both preceded her in death. On November 29, 1947 she married William "Bill" H. Stimmel, 91, passed away on August 24, 2021, at 1:11 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System, surrounded by her loving family. Roberta was born April 28, 1930 in Hardin County, to Lewis and Elsie (Patterson) Spencer who both preceded her in death. On November 29, 1947 she married William "Bill" H. Stimmel who preceded her in death on August 19, 2015. Roberta was a homemaker for most of her life and she was also a farm wife. She has been a member at Westminster United Church of Christ for fourteen years. She loved her family dearly and cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Roberta is survived by her children, Gary (Janelle) Stimmel of Sebastian, FL, Pamela "Pam" (Tom) J. Lawrence of Waynesfield, OH, Gregory "Greg" (Tina) Stimmel of Lakeview, OH, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and brother-in-law, Ralph Gratz. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph (Henrietta) Spencer, Ruth (Mike) Focht, Faye (Henry) Kerr, Dorothey (Lyle) Coon, Glen (Pauline) Spencer, Conwell (Amanda) Spencer, June (Raymond) Todd and Janice Gratz. Funeral Services will be held on August 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Pastor Patrick Kamler to officiate the service. Burial will be in Salem Westminster Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be on August 28, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster United Church of Christ, 6845 Faulkner Road, Harrod, OH, 45850. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
