Roman was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church, Niobrara, Nebraska. He was involved with farming for over 50 years. Survivors are: wife, Yvonne Klug of Niobrara, Nebraska; children, Leon and Cecelia Klug of Niobrara, Nebraska, Loren and Alvina Klug of Niobrara, Nebraska, Loretta and Scott Brabec of South Yankton, Nebraska Lyle Klug of Grand Island, Nebraska, Lynda and Kyle Crosley of Niobrara, Nebraska; grandchildren, Devin, Kayla, Chris, Leah, Jesse, Gary Paul, Robin, Jeremy, Andy, Nick, Shalla, Dakota; 8 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Irene and Francis Wortman of Hartington, Nebraska, Victor and Darelene Klug, of Crofton, Nebraska, Anna Mary and Edwin Filips of Spencer, Nebraska, Andy and Doris Klug of St. Helena, Nebraska and Mildred Sternhagen of Tabor, South Dakota and a host of family and friends. Roman was preceded in death by: daughter, Lorraine Moss in 2005; son, Larry Klug in 1964; parents; parents in law, Mark and Bernice Robinette; 4 brothers and 3 brother in laws. Funeral services for Roman J. Klug, was Wednesday July 29, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Williams Catholic Church, Niobrara, Nebraska. Reverend Doug Scheinost was the celebrant with burial in L'Eau Qui Court Cemetery, Niobrara, Nebraska.
