He departed this life on March 25, 1947, while playing in a sand pit which caved in near the elementary school which he attended. Ronald would have reached the age of 12 had he lived one more day. Friesen of Madrid; one brother and two sisters, younger than Ronald; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vonderfecht of Madrid; his great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Vonderfecht of Hastings, Nebr., and a host of other relatives and friends. Ronald accepted Christ as his personal Saviour Sept. 26, 1945, and has since that day lived a beautiful Christian life. Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lamphear of Hastings, Mrs. Vaughn Lewis of Marquette, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Vonderfecht and children of Denver, Mrs. August Vonderfecht of Hastings, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Siebert of Omaha, Mrs. Henry Friesen and Miss Darlene Friesen of Selma, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. John A. Friesen, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Siebert, Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. Friesen, Mr. and Mrs. Herman A.
