Description	:	August 4, 1939 to James and Elma (Sampila) Glover, he was raised in Newell, SD, He was a 1957 graduate of Newell High School Ron graduated from SDSU in Brookings in March of 1962, he worked on for two years for Game, Fish and Parks. He then served two years in the US Army. He married at Newell on July 22, 1967. They raised their family on a hill north of Rapid City where they have lived for about 46 years. Ron worked as a fisheries biologist, returning to the Game, Fish and Parks department for 27 years, then for 10 years with the US Forest Service in the Black Hills National Forest. Ron's primary focus was better habitat for fish. His love of hunting and fishing lasted his entire life, and he most enjoyed guiding for the Black Hills Turkey Track Club. During his retirement, Ron and his wife traveled Survivors include his wife,a son, a daughter, a brother, Memorials will be given through the South Dakota State University Foundation to support the James Novotny Scholarship Fund and the Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences Scholarship Fund.
