Read More	Ronald Eugene Struck, 65, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha. Ronald Eugene Struck was born August 26, 1941; the son of Ralph and Teresa (Clarion) Keating Struck. He died Saturday, September 23, 2006, at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of sixty-five. Ron was born in Carroll, Iowa and received his education in rural schools near his home by Schleswig. After completing his education, he helped on the family farm. He was united in marriage to Marlene Boettger on December 12, 1964, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison. The couple made their home on a farm in Hanover Township, south of Schleswig and were blessed with the birth of four children. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison. He enjoyed farming, tractor pulls and spending time on Saturdays at the Denison Livestock Auction. During the past thirteen years, he was employed by Don and Joann Kuehnhold at Kuehnhold Sanitation Service. In his leisure time he loved listening and dancing to Polka Music and visiting with family and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; parents, Ralph and Clarion Struck; his grandparents, Julius and Mary Struck; his father-in-law, Raymond Boettger and brother-in-law, Henry "Butch" Boettger. Survivors include three sons, Brian Struck and his wife, Starla of Denison; Chad Struck of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Kent Struck of Denison; one daughter, Brenda Struck of Harlan; six grandchildren, Kayla Struck, Dylan Struck, Madison Struck, Larissa Dillavou, Kara Struck, and Emma Struck; three brothers, Richard Struck and his wife, Linda of Omaha, Nebraska; Robert Struck and his wife, Rebecca of Kennewick, Washington; Randall Struck and his wife, Jacqueline of Schleswig; his mother-in-law, Helen Boettger of Denison; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 28, 2006 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison, Iowa. Fr. Paul Kelly served as Celebrant of the Mass, with interment at Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison. Organist Jean Cornelius provided the organ accompaniment for the St. Rose of Lima Choir singing, "Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound", "How Great Thou Art", "On Eagle's Wings" and "You Are Mine". Susan Meseck served as Lector and Emma Lally and Carlos Paz served as Altar Servers. Honorary Pallbearers were: Larissa Dillavou, Emma Struck, Kayla Struck, Madison Struck, Dylan Struck and Kara Struck. Pallbearers were: Bret Steinkuehler, Travis Anderson, Justin Struck, Michael Boettger, Jordan Struck, Steve Struck and Scott Struck. A Legion of Mary Rosary was held at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Parish Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The family invited everyone to return to the Parish Center and join them in fellowship and lunch, served by the Altar Society. The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of arrangements.
