Description	:	Ronald Rodger Zuraff, 67, a Sterling native, passed away March 5, 2016, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. Services will be held on Friday, March 11 at 1:00pm at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Travis Kadrmas presiding. Ronald will be laid to rest at the Sterling Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Thursday, March 10, at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service. The son of Henry Dee Zuraff and Mildred Evelyn (Hanson) Zuraff, Ronald was born July 5, 1948, in Bismarck. He attended Sterling School until the 8th grade and later obtained his GED at the age of 19. Ronald went on to learn Auto Body at the Technical School of Auto Body in Bismarck, ND. He continued to work in the auto body industry until retiring in 2013. Ronald owned and operated many auto body shops thought-out his life, but is best remembered by his business R&R Auto in Sterling and Menoken, ND as well as R&R Towing in Sterling, ND. Ronald met Sandra Ann Wilken of Bismarck ND and the two married August 22, 1969. After three children and nine years of marriage, Ronald and Sandra unfortunately divorced in the fall of 1978. He later meet his long time, off-and-on again love, DeVerne Michlitsch. He is survived by four sons; Loren and his wife Lisa, Polk County FL., John Bauer, Minneapolis MN., Russell and his wife Maria, Bismarck ND. and Richard and his wife Dana Golden Valley MN.; two daughters, Lora and her fiancé Kevin Klein and Teri of Bismarck ND.; four brothers, Donnie and his wife Diana Frenchtown MT., Dennis and his wife Edda Fredericksburg VA., Dean and his special friend Diana Bossert Bismarck ND.; one sister, Dorothy and her husband Jim Cleveland TN.; 15 grandchildren, Jesse, Matt, Loren, Kaitlyn, Rylee, Nikolas, Tia, Tate, Lexie, Rachel, Adam, Mariah, Josie, Khloe, Braedon and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and sister-in-law, Howard of Liberal KS., Harold and Maxine of Hebron ND; and his long-time off-and-on again love DeVerne Michlitsch. Ronald’s true passion was fixing and selling salvaged vehicles. It would be safe to say, that if you knew Ronald for any amount of time, then you probably purchased at least one of your vehicles from him. He also enjoyed hosting large family gatherings which included the annual 4th of July Fireworks Party. Ronald was a generous person, always helping out with whatever he could.
