Mr. Pope was born in Durham County, the son of the late Thomas Hayes Pope and Fannie Mae Faucette Pope. He was the owner of Ronnie's Auto Shop in Efland. Mr. Pope is survived by his wife, Teresa Womack Pope; daughter, Stephanie L. Pope; son, Ronnie T. Pope Jr. and wife Michelle; brother, Roger H. Pope Sr.; grandchildren, Brittanie Thompson and Matthew Stovall; stepgrandchildren, Jessica Cooper and Robbie Murphy; and great-stepgrandchild, Jesse Milam.
