Description	:	Funeral Held For Mrs. Rosa Polifka Mrs. Rosa Polifka, 78, of Catherine, died early April 14 morning on the way to a Hays hospital. She had been a resident of Catherine all her life. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Adam Walters of Severin, Mrs. Leo Walters and Mrs. Tony Walters of Catherine, Mrs. Leo Schutz and Mrs. Adolf Schumacher of Hays, and Stella of Catherine; one son, Frank, of Catherine; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Kuhn of Antonino and Mrs. Joe Pfannenstiel of Hays; and five brothers, Alex and Mike Befort of Hays, John Befort of Ellis, Conrad... Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Adam Walters of Severin, Mrs. Leo Walters and Mrs. Tony Walters of Catherine, Mrs. Leo Schutz and Mrs. Adolf Schumacher of Hays, and Stella of Catherine; one son, Frank, of Catherine; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Kuhn of Antonino and Mrs. Joe Pfannenstiel of Hays; and five brothers, Alex and Mike Befort of Hays, John Befort of Ellis, Conrad Befort of Great Bend, and Frank Befort of Schoenchen. Funeral services were Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with burial in St. Catherine's cemetery. The body was in the Polifka home in Catherine until the time of the funeral. The Altar Society recited the rosary for Mrs. Polifka at her home in Catherine Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
