Description	:	Rosa was born in Cass Township, Wapello County, probably in Happy Hallow mining camp. In the 1880 Census Rosa was living with her family in Cass Township, Wapello County, Iowa. The family moved to Excelsior in Mahaska County after this census and both her parents died in 1881. According to cemetery records Rosa was buried Sept 22, 1884. I believe she was living in Garfield Township with her oldest sister Sarah Ellen Matthews and her family at the time of her death. In 2017 a stone was set for Rosa by the Vivian Scott Family.
