Description	:	Rosa Elizabeth Williams, the daughter of Alvah and Prude Yarrington, was born in the town of New Oregon, later renamed Cresco, Howard County, Dec. 29, 1861. She passed away in the In-dependence, Mo., Sanitarium and Hospital on Feb. 13, 1950, at the age of 88 years, one month, and 14 days. In 1864, when she was three years old, his parents moved to Hancock County, and 12 years, later in 1876 they moved into Harrison County, Iowa. Read More	Rosa Elizabeth Williams, the daughter of Alvah and Prude Yarrington, was born in the town of New Oregon, later renamed Cresco, Howard County, Dec. 29, 1861. She passed away in the In-dependence, Mo., Sanitarium and Hospital on Feb. 13, 1950, at the age of 88 years, one month, and 14 days. In 1864, when she was three years old, his parents moved to Hancock County, and 12 years, later in 1876 they moved into Harrison County, Iowa. It was here that Sister Williams was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1878, and she remained a faithful member to the time of her passing. She was united in marriage to John Fuqua in 1880. To this union four children were born, three sons and one daughter, Clarence 0. of Lamar, Mo., Walter L., and Mrs. Elsie Herndon survive her. The family removed to Arkansas where they resided for a number of years. During their residence in Arkansas, her husband died and after his passing, she returned to Iowa. On December 3, 1918, she was united in marriage to Daniel T. Williams of Ottumwa where they made their home until the death of Mr. Willlams in 1920. Since then her home has been in Lamoni, except for short periods, when she visited her children in Missouri and Arkansas. The closing years of her life she spent at the Saints' Home where she could attend the services and association of friends and where she enjoyed the fellowship of the church. In addition to her children, nine grandchildren, one brother, A. J. Yarrington, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Monroe, both of Lamoni, mourn her passing.
